What you need

Background

Power Automate is a cloud-based service from Microsoft that allows users to create and automate workflows and business processes across multiple applications and services. This platform is part of Microsoft's broader Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power BI, and more. Power Automate was previously known as Microsoft Flow and was rebranded to better align with its capabilities in automating workflows and enabling business process automation.

The service is designed to improve productivity by automating repetitive tasks, which can save significant amounts of time and reduce the potential for human error. For example, it can automate tasks such as sending notifications, copying files from one location to another, or collecting data from various sources. Power Automate features a user-friendly interface that supports drag-and-drop workflow creation, making it accessible not only to developers but also to non-technical users who can benefit from automating their workflows without writing code.

A standout feature of Power Automate is its vast library of prebuilt connectors, which allows it to integrate with over 1,000 external services like Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and many more. This integration capability enables users to automate workflows across various applications and services they use daily. Additionally, if a required connector is not available, users have the option to create custom connectors to their cloud applications, further extending the platform's flexibility and utility.

When considering implementing Power Automate within an organization or for personal use, it's important to evaluate the specific processes that could benefit from automation, the potential return on investment in terms of time and resources saved, and the ease of integration with existing systems and workflows. Power Automate's role in driving efficiency and its ability to empower users to create their automated solutions makes it a valuable tool in the modern digital workplace.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the

"When inside of" nested selector

system.
